Planes, and Holy Water is a tribute to newly ordained Father Doug Ebert.
- PV FEATURES: The Best Little Restaurant Show Train from Texas features
the biggest show of its kind in the States. PVs on the train included
the Patron Tequila Express, Vista Canyon, Warren R. Henry, Evelyn Henry,
Milwaukee Road baggage car No. 2450, Super Dome and Cedar Rapids.
- Amtrak's National Train Day on May 9. Participating in Washington
D.C. was the Georgia 300 and Dover Harbor. The Royal Street, Pacific
Union, Southern Hospitality and the San Marino were in New Orleans.
In Chicago, visitors toured the Warren R. Henry and the Evelyn Henry
while in Los Angeles guests enjoyed the Overland Trail, Scottish Thistle
and the Patron Tequila Express.
- PV ShopTALK: Lancaster & Chester Railway Company: Work continues
on the Dearing and Wisconsin for participation in the upcoming 2009
Convention train to Savannah, Georgia, and on the James L. Larson Special
to Florida in November. Historic Sunbeam is an ongoing project that
keeps looking spiffier all the time; Gateway Rail Services is upgrading
the Swift Stream, including new window glazing throughout the car.
