Description:

Built in 1954 by Pullman-Standard for service on Canadian National's "Super Continental" as a sleeping car named MOUNT RESPLENDENT.  Transferred to Via Rail Canada in 1978.  Rebuilt in 1982 with 3 bedrooms, buffet and lounge.  Name shortened to RESPLENDENT.  Rebuilt 1993-1995 by it's first private owner.  Refurbished in 2000 and renamed OLIVER HAZARD PERRY.  Acquired by current owner in 2021. 1 master bedroom, 2 bedrooms with Captain's bed, 2 showers, kitchen, dining room for full meal service, and spacious lounge with large observation windows.  Stereo, DVD and wide flat-screen TV.  Beautiful ribbon and burled mahogany woodwork throughout.
